I've made it a habit of looking at elevator inspection permits. 9 times out of 10, they are expired. What does that mean? That the elevator can come crashing down because it wasn't inspected? It always makes me wonder... why put an expiration date on the permit if you aren't going to follow it... And when Ritz and Cheese day comes, I'll definitely attend the party.

Sure, the forms are always filled out, but have you ever actually seen an elevator being inspected?
Personally, I think it's all part of a government plot

I am also suspicious about elevator inspections. I have not ever actually seen one. I suspect you send someone money, and they send you a new certificate.
