I'm really tired of the "christmas season" starting earlier and earlier each year. Next year they'll probably start putting things out right after the 4th of July. Soon, it will be christmas all year long.
And I admit, sometimes, I shop the after TG sales, but I'm usually out of town that day so fuck it.

No, moi, I love the crowds and the crowded malls and grocery stores. I only shop then. Haha. No, but I like it. Gets me in such a festive mood! And, the malls and grocery stores and giving me the christmas spirit, are putting me in the mood anyway. That and TV, but I really love all the stores and grocery stores! Thatīs really one of the things that get me mainly into the christmas mood. Itīs also a crowd experience, like watching TV, I think. But I also have no family life or anything, so maybe thatīs why. Itīs cold inside..

I avoid the mall after Thanksgiving like it has the plague! I agree with you totally, I will pay full price, or do my shopping other ways!

I hate malls but frequent them sometimes..but NEVER during the holiday season if I can help it at all. I think it's stupid that they put out the Christmas stuff right about now. Hell, why don't they just leave it in the stores all year 'round (like some dumbass people do with the christmas lights on the outside of their homes), but in general I don't lose sleep about it. I think Miracle Whip comes straight from the Prince of Darkness himself. I'm all about REAL mayo (light, please)...and I only eat it on BLT's or in potato salad/coleslaw. Hate it otherwise:)

I shop for christmas on Dec 23rd like any good American, and I do it a crowded mall of empty, torn-apart stores. And I always manage to find the gift that (the proverbial) they always like the most. The heartwarming one, that is also useful, and what they didn't realize they wanted most.
But then, I am a goddess who can put her normal clausterphobia (sp?) aside for just one day to shop for her loved ones, and spend money she won't be able to pay back until next christmas.
