I'm so sorry. That sounds excruciating. Have you tried using Sensodyne toothpaste a couple of weeks before you go in for a cleanng? It's suppose to help. They gave me a bunch of samples to use before my next appointment as I have some teeth that do not like to be cleaned. I guess it happens when you get older (yeah, I nearlly throttled my dentist when he told me that) and your gums recede a little bit. ((hugs))
