I never thought I'd see "cook" and "microwaved burrito" in the same sentence. That's got to be one of the most revolting things I've ever read. You actually eat that? And live?

Yes, and apparently so. ;)

During my partying days, I once decided to make mac and cheese to satisfy a major munchie craving. I also decided, in my delirium, to add a whole block of velveeta cheese to the recipe... which may have been fine, except I didn't bother to cut the block into managable chunks, so I woke up the next morning to a tower of slightly melted cheese sticking out of a base of macaroni.

Oooh. I will have to try the butter thing. But I'm SOOOO with you on the rest of it and glad I'm not the only one who eats such things. Another good one, for a "real" burrito: microwave spanish rice (I love you Uncle Ben), mix in a can of ranch-style beans, microwave a little more, get some giant burrito tortillas and microwave those wrapped in a wet paper towel (makes them all steamy soft), add the beans/rice, add as many kinds of cheese as possible (I like velveeta, pepper jack and shredded fiesta blend), microwave till cheese melted. It makes enough to eat for two or three days, and it's yummy. A little salsa never hurt, either, and sour cream. I'm also stupidly fond of cheese and crackers in any form.

Holy mother of burritos ... I cook mine the exact same way!! Except I DO use light cheddar and you can't stop me! I live on those damn things. Well, those and rotisserie chickens from Sam's Club.
