1) I know what you mean about shows that are hard to knit to. I wrote a whole blog entry about this once. I find shows like Dateline and 20/20 where you don't have to look up much are good to knit. Shows like Project Runway, Top Model, and Ugly Betty: bad to knit to.
2) I was about to throw my computer out the window when Diaryland had issues yesterday. I was oonvinced it was just my computer, so is it bad to say that I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one.
3) I love the stories about your family. I just love your blog period.

I'm going to have to be the unpopular girl here and say that I was not in the least impressed with Casino Royale. To me, it seemed like the Bond copycat version of Batman Begins. Also preferred Pierce Brosnan as Bond. Although the new fellah sure has a gorgeous body, his face just doesn't do it for me. He's too rugged for Bond, doesn't have the requisite sophistication for the character.

Interesting thoughts on Second Life. I've been hesitant to join, like I need ANOTHER distraction and time suck. But it sure is tempting. And yes, I'd love to move inside the grid using my thoughts. Totally cool. Especially if I could have the body I think I have instead of the one I do. Heh. ~LA
