Wow, you don't expect to see something like that outside of a horror movie. Decapitating a pet is bad enough, but delivering it as a present like that?
And you know if the person is caught, it'll just get plea bargained down to a slap on the wrist.

Eegah.. some people are totally fucked up. I can't say that I've ever had a pet killed, but the closest thing I can relate to is a friend of mine's black dog who got killed in the middle of the night when we were little kids. He (the friend) never really got over it because he saw part of it happen, but was too scared to do anything at the time. I think that we were about 5-6 when that happened.

There are some things in this world that I CANNOT abide by the primary one being violence towards animals. This is beyond horrific. Beyond disgusting and beyond uncivilized. I have to trust that this act will not go unpunished, whether through our legal system or through a higher rule.

You know, lately I've been thinking that I'd like the power to dispatch anyone I felt was a high-grade evil-doer. Of course, both the Hudson and the East Rivers would be choked with bodies within days, but whatever creep did this dreadful thing would certainly be among them...
